Welcome to the terms and conditions (“Agreement”) for engaging with Bodied Beauty Studio (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using our website, booking or receiving services in person at our studio, you agree to be bound by these terms.
services and use of website
a. Our in-person services include massage therapy, post-operative care, body contouring, lymphatic drainage, wellness treatments, and any related offerings.
b. The website is for informational purposes, booking, and communication. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee all content is always complete or up to date.
booking, cancellations, no-shows
a. You must provide notice at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
b. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice (“late cancel”), you agree to pay 50% of the scheduled service fee.
c. If you do not arrive (“no-show”) or fail to attend, you agree to pay 100% of the service fee.
d. No deposit is required to secure an appointment; payment is handled in person at your service.
payments and refunds
a. Accepted payment methods: credit card, debit, cash, and e-transfer.
b. All services and packages are non-refundable. Once purchased, you agree there are no refunds for completed services or unused portions of packages.
gift card and packages
a. Packages expire one year from the date of purchase.
b. Gift cards are valid indefinitely (no expiry), consistent with Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act.
c. Specific terms will be disclosed at time of gift card purchase.
medical disclaimer and liability
a. Our services are not a substitute for medical care. If you have medical concerns, we recommend consulting a qualified health professional prior to treatment.
b. You agree to provide full and accurate health information via our intake forms. We are not liable for any issues arising from undisclosed medical conditions.
c. We do not guarantee specific results; individual outcomes may vary.
intellectual property
a. All content on the website (text, images, logos, design) is owned by Bodied Beauty Studio or used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
b. Any clients featured on our site (photos, testimonials, etc.) have given us written consent to use their likeness and statements.
marketing and email communications
a. We may send newsletters, promotions, service updates via email if you’ve opted in.
b. You can unsubscribe at any time.
governing law and dispute resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada. Any dispute arising under these terms will be resolved in Ontario jurisdiction.
changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website, with the effective date updated accordingly.
